This famous song is a truly inspirational piece of music. It was performed by just one of the Brothers – Bobby Hatfield. Sadly he passed away in 2003. This video is perhaps the finest performance of the song. They adopted their name in 1962 while performing together in the Los Angeles area. At the end of one particular performance, a U.S. Marine in the audience shouted, “That was righteous, brothers!”, prompting the pair to adopt the name when they embarked on a career as a duo.

This is a magnificent rendition by Carrie Underwood. Vince Gill’s guitar accompaniment just had to be heard to appreciate. One of the best ever videos of this classic. If you are not moved by this video you’re perhaps beyond Olderhood !!!
