Embracing Change

“May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face”

I have been thinking a lot about change this week.

Why does it always seem to be that the moment that I start to feel settled, the cogs in the great wheel lurch into action? I go to bed one night thinking life is working out very nicely and I wake up the next day to discover that everything has changed.

I am being cryptic I know – the simple truth is that despite the fact that we filmed ten very successful episodes of our TV show Resetting the Wheel, it does not look like we will be doing any more for a while. I won’t bore you with the details – it’s a money thing.

On the one hand I am a little deflated by this turn of events; the show was a lot of fun to do and helped a great number of people in my home country. On the other, I am intrigued by the sudden opportunity to divert my energy elsewhere.

Oh sure, I could whine a little but why would I?

I got to be on television which is a thing that practically no one gets to do, and I am very thankful for the opportunity.

So what’s next ???

Wouldn’t you like to know! (g)

Actually Bill Storie and I do have an idea or two (don’t we always) but it is too soon to discuss what we are planning. I will just say that it’s high time we got the show on the road.

So watch this space for further updates and look out world here we come J
